From the captivating paintings displayed at the Museum of Fine Arts to the avant-garde performances gracing the Boston Centre for the Arts, New England has long been a thriving hub of cultural brilliance.
We recognize the significance of fostering young talent at Long’s Jewelers, a cherished family-owned and operated full-service jeweler with five stores across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Beyond our in-store family, we believe in cultivating the artistic potential within the communities we serve, as we firmly believe that nurturing young artists enriches all of our lives.
Rolex has partnered with some of the world’s most gifted artists and esteemed cultural institutions for over half a century to celebrate creativity and preserve artistic heritage, forging a profound connection between the past, present, and future.
Central to the replica Rolex Perpetual Arts Initiative is its mentoring program, introduced in 2002 with a noble mission: to ensure the enduring transmission of artistic heritage across borders of nations, cultures, disciplines, and generations. At a pivotal juncture in their burgeoning careers, young artists are bestowed the remarkable opportunity to be mentored by visionary luminaries in their respective fields – mentors they could have only dreamed of encountering, let alone receiving guidance from.
Rolex’s visionary approach is evident in the program’s inclusivity, uniting various art forms – from visual arts and dance to theatre, music, literature, film, and architecture – under one remarkable umbrella. The scale and scope of this corporate arts initiative are unparalleled, setting it apart as a truly unique endeavor. After two decades, the program stands as a testament to its astonishing impact, creating an expansive global community of artists and arts administrators.
Since its inception, the mentoring program has nominated an impressive 1,350 individuals from 120 countries, with hundreds of eminent artists and influential figures in the arts serving as advisors or nominating young talents. To date, 63 mentors have chosen 63 protégés from 41 countries, highlighting Rolex’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive creative community on a global scale.
As we commemorate 20 years of empowering the artists of tomorrow, Long’s Jewelers stands proudly alongside clone Rolex, celebrating the profound achievements of the Perpetual Arts Initiative. We wholeheartedly believe that nurturing the artistic brilliance of young talents enriches our collective cultural tapestry, and together, we look forward to a future imbued with boundless creativity and artistic excellence.
