Montauk Winter Weekend
Join ALS and NYC Audubon members for a weekend at the luxurious Manor House (heated pool, Jacuzzi, spacious lobby, restaurant). Visit the eastern tip of Long Island during quiet time and peak winter birding. See thousands of waterfowl, including loons, mergansers, eiders, scoters and goldeneye, as well as lots of seals. Visit Montauk Bluffs, “Walking Dunes,” Oyster Pond and Hither Woods.

Assateague Spring Weekend

Learn about the history, wildlife, and ecology of the 9,000 acre Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, a part of Gateway National Recreation Area. See nesting herons, egrets, osprey, oystercatcher and the backwater marshes near JFK Airport. |
